Kitesurfing is our passion. We have been in this industry since its inception, Tim taught himself in 2003, Emilio in 2002 and Ceci in 2005. We lived the transition of a completely extreme and experimental sport, we are part of that group of crazy people who transformed it through years of experiments into a safe sport that everyone can enjoy.
During the last ten years we have dedicated our life to travel and teach in different spots around the world, in search of the best conditions.
The school is governed by the regulations of the IKO (International Kitesurfing Association). Both the design of our courses and safety regulations as well as our certification and medical insurance system. Our instructors have been certified through the same association for more than ten years. Each year, more than 40,000 new kiters take IKO lessons, more than 800 instructors become certified and dozens of schools around the world become affiliated as IKO Centers.
We are three friends, who with a lot of desire and pride joined their knowledge to found Wind Nomads. Our mission is to grow kitesurfing in a safe and sustainable way to allow you to experiment with confidence.
This sport changed our lives and we believe it can change yours as well. Our goal is to help you progress safely, step by step, providing you with personalized and high quality lessons.
